With twenty-six years as an entertainment provider for meetings and events, Avalon has had numerous requests for the performance of the National Anthem, usually at the opening of a General Session. While a vocalist or choral group is the most common answer to this request, Avalon features extraordinary talent that makes the anthem even more impactful.
Below are descriptions of these acts and video demos for your review. Oh, and if you’re looking for a Color Guard as well, Avalon can call out the calvalry! Click on photos to view video demos. |

SHADOWS OF THE WEST
When Avalon was asked for a rendition of
the anthem followed by something to raise attendees’ spirits and set an upbeat mood,
we took a grass roots approach by featuring Shadows of the West, singing the anthem
center stage.
After the performance and with the applause
still at high volume, the vocalists retreated to a corner of the stage to join a third band member and kicked in with some lively music embellished with a western dance troupe. The audience loved it! Check out the video. |

ARIZONA’S SINGING COWBOY AND
HIS HORSE “STEEL” PRESENT
OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM
What better way to start any Arizona event than with a western presentation of our National Anthem. As Gary rides into the event area*, with extra long fringe flowing from his red, white and blue outfit, carrying an American Flag, patriotic music plays over the sound system. After arriving center stage (on the floor), Steel rears up and Gary begins singing the National Anthem (with his wireless mic). Steel rears again and the duo departs the area. |
