AME just had the pleasure of producing
one of the finest 50's / 60's act ever to come out
of Motown: The fabulous Drifters featuring Rick Sheppard,
one of the most personable and entertaining lead singers
ever to tour with the Drifters of the 1960's.
AME was
asked by the University of Phoenix to come up with
a show that combined value, high energy, and broad
appeal to their audience. Knowing that
the Motown era boasted some of the greatest acts of
all time and that nostalgia shows are well priced when
compared to more contemporary "name" acts,
AME compiled a list of available artists for our client's
review and the Drifters were selected.
You
know the songs. "On Broadway," "Under The Boardwalk," "Save
The Last Dance For Me," "Up On The Roof, "This Magic
Moment," "There Goes My Baby," and many more. Appearing
at the magnificent Westin Kierland in Scottsdale,
Az, the Drifters, in combination with a hot local
band, The RAVE, had the audience dancing in the aisles!
